Judith earned her law degree from Loyola Law School in
Los Angeles, and, prior to that, her Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia
University in New York City. She has written and lectured extensively on topics related to
family law, Mediation and the Collaborative Law process. Through
the years, Judith has served on the Executive Committee of the California Bar Family Law
Section, as Continuing Education Chair of the Family Law Section, as Chair of the
Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the State Bar Family Law Section and on the
Executive Committee of the Beverly Hills Bar ADR Section. She has coordinated and served
as a panelist at many seminars and workshops including those sponsored by the State Bar of
California, International Association of Collaborative Attorneys and the American Bar
Association and lectured on Interest Based Negotiation at UCLA Extension and on Family Law
at the USC Graduate School of Social Work. Judith C. Nesburn serves as a mediator for the
appellate and family law courts and for private individuals throughout the Los Angeles
area.
